How to make email arrive in the Focused inbox automatically in, Hotmail, Live, or MSN

Microsoft has been rolling out the Focused and Other inboxes to Canadian email users of, Hotmail, Live, and MSN. The email software automatically sorts your email: more important email goes into the Focused inbox while less important email goes into the Other inbox. The problem is that the software may not be getting it right. You may have some important email in the Other inbox and vice versa. Fortunately, you can tell the software which email should go to which inbox. How do you make sure you get the emails you want to see in the Focused folder? For desktop users:
  • Go the Other folder
  • Open an email from the sender such as Shopper’s Voice
  • Click on Move to in the menu at the top
  • Select and click on Always move to Focused inbox.
  • Tip: Check the Other tab from time to time to make sure you don’t miss any other important emails.

Go to Other inbox and open an email such as from Shopper’s Voice.
  It will take a day or two for Outlook to learn which email is Focused vs. Other. Check the Other tab from time to time to see if there are any other emails that should be sent to the Focused inbox. You can always reverse the process by opening an email in the Focused folder, click on “Move to”, and select “Always move to Other inbox”. You can also turn off the Focused inbox by following these instructions:   For Outlook mobile app users:
  • Go to the Other tab.
  • Open an email from the sender such as Shoppers Voice.
  • Tap the overflow icon (three dots icon), and select Move to Focused Inbox.
  • Select Always Move.
  • The app will take a day or so to learn that this sender should be delivered to the Focused inbox
  • Tip: Check the Other tab from time to time to make sure you dont miss any other important emails.

      1. I agree it is definitely the longest survey I’ve ever done for a store. I kept dozing off to sleep but I do like giving feedback you’re right about them asking too many personal questions. I don’t mind because it could help others. I know I feel completely hopeless after suffering for over half my life so almost 26 years and can use any help if I haven’t tried something and I’m on disability so I can’t afford most things like my supplements and singular isn’t cover or lyrica and I can’t afford them. I so desperately need help. Shoppers is my favourite store but I always spend too much on necessities let alone a few things for myself but that won’t happen.

I was very excited to to participate on this survey.,unfortunately it was way too long than expected, yo be honest i was about to give up, but considering the customer service the name Joumana that invited me to respond to this survey decided to go to trough it, i thought it was about how i was served, whether satisfied with her service or not, however, i am happy to say, i was very satisfied with the service she very performing her duties im a very professional way. I am very loyal to this particular shoppers drug mart at 1675 Tenth Line Rd i Orleans and sometimes the customer service could be chaos.
      I give 👍to Mss Joumana a100% even dough was not the issue i needed to express my feelings. I am Proud to participate in this survey.

    4. I am not concerned in filling out surveys or getting something for nothing. I only replied through this long journey into my personal life in order to give thanks to the lovely ,helpful, courteous employee Darlina of the Bayers Lake store. Your survey should start with a either or. Do I want to do a survey or do I want to point a specific employee. Seems you don’t really want info on employee satisfaction, just a consumers survey. You should pay people for filling out this survey. Took 30 minutes , thanks

    1. It was a long survey, a little to personal, but I have nothing to hide. I lived in Calgary up to 12 years ago, I would fill out surveys & I would be sent coupons in the mail for my participaction.

  21. I’m very leery about getting “FREE” samples. I’ve been burned several times. When you get the “Free” sample the next shipment aarrives in a few days and these outrageous charges appear on your credit card. I have never found a product obtained this way that works.
